Nose surgery (Rhinoplasty): Rhinoplasty is a procedure that reshapes the nose by modifying the nasal framework. The procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis, and under local anesthesia with sedation. After surgery, the patient spends a few hours at the recovery room and then is discharge from the hospital. Because we use self- absorbable surgical sutures, there is not need for stitch removal. Temporary swelling, and bruising around eyes and nose can be expected after surgery for a few days. In most cases, patients are back to work in one week. However, patients should avoid strenuous activities for 4 weeks.
Profile contouring: Sometimes it is necessary not only to reshape the nose, but also modify the patient’s profile to obtain a better overall result. In this patient, rhinoplasty, neck liposuction and chin augmentation were performed.
Ear surgery (Otoplasty): Otoplasty is a procedure that sets prominent ears back closer to the head by remodeling the ear structures. The procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis, and under local anesthesia with sedation. After surgery, the patient spends a few hours at the recovery room and then is discharge from the hospital. Temporary aching, redness, swelling, and bruising can be expected after surgery for a few days. In most cases, patients are back to work in one week. However, patients should avoid strenuous activities for 1 month.
Other procedures to improve the patient’s image include the following: Botox injection, Chemical Peel, Dermabrasion, Laser resurfacing, Fat Microinjection, and Lip Augmentation. These procedures can be done as single procedures or in combination with some facial surgery to enhance the overall aesthetic result.
