Breast augmentation (Augmentation Mammaplasty): Augmentation mammaplasty is a procedure that enhances the size and shape of breasts using either silicone gel filled or inflatable saline filled implants. The procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis, and under local anesthesia with sedation. After surgery, the patient spends a few hours at the recovery room and then is discharge from the hospital. Because we use self- absorbable surgical sutures, there is not need for stitch removal. Temporary swelling, bruising, and soreness can be expected after surgery for a few days. In most cases, patients are back to work in one week. However, patients should avoid strenuous activities for 1 month.
Breast Lift (Mastopexy): Mastopexy is a procedure that raises and reshapes sagging breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning remaining tissues and nipples. To minimize the number and extent of post-surgical scars, we use the Vertical Mammaplasty technique, in which a single vertical scar replaces the typical “inverted T” scar. The procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis, and under local anesthesia with sedation. Breast reduction: Breast reduction is a procedure that reduces and reshapes enlarged breasts by removing excess skin and tissues and repositioning remaining tissues and nipples.
